I just got a "writable" Nook cover stand + pen. Can I erase what I write on the cover, or once I write on it is what I write permanent?

I was looking for the same. They do call it an Autograph Pen, but the B&N store employee said it was for taking notes, then erasing 'like a chalk board'. That was my intent, thought it'd be handy for jotting a note when I only had my nook with me. I found it did come off with a bit of water (a wet cloth), but not as well as I thought. I may try the rubbing alcohol suggest on the other response, but not sure if that will dry or damage the cover.

It's not intended to be eraseable, however it will come off with rubbing alcohol. I read somewhere that the point of the writable cover is for obtaining autographs from your favorite authors!?
